With a beautiful Shape resulting from Yoshimura's Tri-Oval design heritage, the unique design is especially striking from the rear, where the large-diameter carbon fibre end cap and well-integrated, draw-formed, slash-cut outlet can clearly be seen.
Optimised for maximum flow and improved ground clearance, the Alpha T silencer produces more power, more torque and is lighter than the original Alpha silencer. All parts required for fitment are included (brackets/fittings/link pipe etc.) with full fitting instructions.
Designed and manufactured for durability and ease of service, with unrivaled fit and finish due to improved production tolerances, the Alpha T utilises a tapered conical sleeve that produces a higher "GP" tone.
Silencer options include durable Stainless Steel, fitted with a carbon fibre end cap, or race grade Titanium with a brushed finish and carbon fibre end cap.
The new "Works Edition" is applied to the steel link pipe for increased strength and scratch/stain resistance. In use after a few heat cycles this produces a uniformed heat colouration which mimics the look of titanium.
Comparative sound levels at idle: 81.7db OEM/91.4db Alpha T open/87.0db Alpha T with insert (@2500 rpm: 89.3db/101.9db/96.9db and @5000 rpm: 92.6db/105.3db/103.7db).
